Jaylen posterizes LeBron

After missing the last couple of games due to a thumb injury, Jaylen Brown returned to the Boston Celtics lineup in a big way Monday night.

With his ability to score from anywhere on the court in a 20-point performance, Brown’s loudest bucket came in the third quarter with this loud two-handed same over the reach of one LeBron James.

The loud dunk by Jaylen Brown did draw a technical due to his stare down, but the highlight of the night happened and from that point forward, there was no turning back for the Boston Celtics who showed the Los Angeles Lakers their own version of showtime at the TD Garden.

More from Boston Celtics

In all, Brown’s overall performance, it was good to have him back in the lineup for both his offensive and defensive presence.

As for that particular play, Jayson Tatum gushed over his teammate’s extreme athleticism.

"“That was a helluva play by Jaylen,” Tatum said after the game, via ESPN.  “He’s so gifted, especially athletically.  It surprised me.  I didn’t think he was going to dunk it, especially that vertical.  He’s a hell of an athlete, a helluva player.”"

There are not many Boston Celtics fans who would disagree.  Jaylen Brown has really become an all-around player who is taking his game to an All-Star level.

Just ask LeBron James.
