Find their quarterback of the future

Listen, there is no secret that the Patriots need to look into acquiring their quarterback of the future, regardless of whether Tom Brady comes back or not.

The Pats have many potential options at 23. Quarterbacks such as Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, Washington’s Jacob Eason, Utah State’s Jordan Love, among others.

As much as we hate to admit it, Tom Brady will not play forever. He has defied “Father Time” for years now, but it will either catch up to him or he’ll simply choose to hang it up on his own terms.

The Patriots, especially Coach Belichick, thought they had their heir apparent in now-49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, but he was flipped to San Francisco for a 2nd-round pick in 2017.

Who will fill those shoes that were filled by “The G.O.A.T.” for so many years? Will it be Jarrett Stidham, the only other QB on the roster? Will New England take a chance on a prospect in a deep 2020 quarterback class? We’ll find out in April.
