The season might not be over for the Boston Celtics but they already exceeded expectations.

Heading into the 2019-20 season confidence wasn’t at an all-time high for Boston Celtics fans. There was hope, but after losing Kyrie Irving and Al Horford it was hard to believe the team would be as good as they were last season.

Somehow the Celtics aren’t just on par with last year, they are much better. Who would have thought we would be saying that?

The Celtics are currently 3rd place in the Eastern Conference with a 42-19 record. They are ahead of the 76ers who acquired Horford as well as the Brooklyn Nets who acquired Kevin Durant and Irving (It isn’t the C’s fault both of these guys are out for the entire season due to injury).

Boston has just been a fun team to watch this year. There is no infighting or off the court issues. Every player is someone you can root for and there are no ball hogs on the team.

So no matter what the end result of the 2019-20 season is for the Boston Celtics, it has been a season of success.
