August 5th Celtics vs Nets 9:00 PM

This match had the potential to be a good one. The Nets have some talented players and it was possible that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant returned for the playoff push. ow it looks like it should be an easy win for the C’s

Besides not having Irving and Durant, The Nets will also be without DeAndre Jordan, Wilson Chandler. Jordan will not be playing as he found out he tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

Also, the status of Spencer Dinwiddie is in question after he tested positive for the coronavirus. If Dinwiddie is added to the list of players not headed to Florida the Nets will have a tough time down south.

The only hope for the Nets is that Caris Levert goes off. So far this season he is averaging 17.7 points a game.

Levert has been succesfull against the C’s. This season he put up 51 points in Boston. If the Nets want to win, Levert will need to have a similar effort.

. . BOSTON CELTICS. 3-1.

With the number of players that will be missing, it looks like this should be a blowout for the Celtics. Even though it’s a back-to-back, Boston should do just fine and if it is indeed a blowout they will get to rest some players like Hayward.
