Dalton Keene can do big things for New England Patriots.

With veteran tight end Matt LaCosse and fullback Danny Vitale opting out due to Covid-19, New England Patriots third-round pick Dalton Keene will really have a chance to shine.

As a versatile tight end, the Virginia Tech product has some experience playing the fullback position and it would not be a surprise if he was used in multiple ways in the Patriots offense in 2020.

At 6-foot-4, 251 pounds, Dalton Keene is an athletic, pass-catching tight end who is not only tough but comes into the league eager to get better and eager to prove skeptics like Skip Bayless wrong.

Back at the beginning of July, the co-host of FOX Sports 1 show “Undisputed” disrespected the New England Patriots rookie tight ends saying they were unknowns.  Perhaps they are right now, but Keene quickly let Bayless know who he was and is using it as motivation like a true Patriots player would.

Along with fellow rookie tight end Devin Asiasi, Dalton Keene will have a lot on his shoulders in 2020 in hopes of re-establishing the Patriots tight end depth chart.  With the potential to be the steal of the 2020 NFL Draft, Keene would change everything for the Patriots’ offense if he turns that motivation into instant production.
