Chris Wagner

One of the more surprising success stories of the bubble so far has been Chris Wagner. In the round-robin games, Wagner scored two goals. He has kept up his great play in the first round.

Wagner hasn’t scored since the first round started, but he has done all the right things.

Primarily, Wagner is known for his physical play. He can energize the team and change the course of a game with a single hit. Wagner has continued to bring the physicality in the first round.

But what has also been impressive is Wagner’s skill in the opponent’s zone. He has created some quality scoring chances and has just been great offensively.

Especially since Wagner is a fourth liner, it’s not like everyone expects him to score. That would just be a bonus.

So Wagner has done rather well for the Bruins, and if he is able to get some pucks in the net he will far exceed expectations.
