Charlie McAvoy

One player changed the course of the entire game. Charlie McAvoy kicked off the comeback for the Bruins.

McAvoy has already had a relatively good series. He has played a quality two-way game. Multiple times we saw McAvoy kick off a play with some physical play and turn that into scoring opportunities.

McAvoy’s biggest play came in the 3rd period where he lit up Jordan Staal. McAvoy made the veteran center fall like a ton of bricks. Staal left the game and Boston had momentum on their side.

This is why McAvoy will become one of the best defenders in the NHL. Besides amazing goalscoring ability, he is capable of changing games with a single hit. He is the perfect replacement for Zdeno Chara.

McAvoy has been one of the best players so far and he is showing just how important he is to the Bruins roster. Hopefully, he continues to play at such a high level.
