Devin McCourty is the face of the New England Patriots and NFL

When all is said and done and New England Patriots veteran safety Devin McCourty decides to call it a career, he will go down as one of the organization’s most successful players.

Aside from Tom Brady, McCourty has played in five Super Bowls and apart of three Super Bowl victories in his career, sharing the last victory with his twin brother Jason McCourty.

With his best football behind him, the 33-year-old Devin McCourty continues to be a reliable player and leader for Bill Belichick, but what is really starting to stand out is his leadership as an NFL player off the field as well.

Over the summer, McCourty has not only become a voice when it comes to social justice, he has also spoken out over concerns of COVID-19 and player safety.  McCourty has become a spokesman throughout the NFL who has earned respect amongst players and obviously his teammates and coaches as he was once again named team captain.

Like the players listed before him, Devin McCourty simply leads with his play on the field.  He won’t exactly change the complexion of any game, but his voice on and off the field along with his leadership and experience has him leading the pack of players who are now the face of the New England Patriots.

He was before Tom Brady left and is even more so now that the six-time Super Bowl champion has taken his talents to Tampa Bay.
