Chase Winovich

Another second-year player who will be looking to make that coveted next step is Chase Winovich. It looks like he will have an increased role on the defensive side of things.

Winovich had quite the start to his career. In his rookie season, he racked up five and a half sacks and 26 total tackles. Winovich proved that he could be an integral part of the pass rush.

Now with the number of players that New England has lost on defense, Winovich will have to be even better. That sack total will have to be closer to seven or eight.

Like Harry, we will see what Winovich is truly made of in his second season. Does he have the potential to be one of the best Patriots pass rushers or will he plateau?

Stephon Gilmore can’t do it all for New England. He will need some help from Winovich and the guys up front.
