Chase Winovich

One player who needed to step up in 2020 was Chase Winovich. He had a great start to his career, but he needs to be even better this season.

In 2019, Winovich had 26 tackles along with 5.5 sacks. It looks like he will be even better in 2020.

Against the Dolphins, Winovich was one of the leading tacklers for New England. He ended the day with six tackles including one for a loss. He was also able to gain a QB hit.

There’s still some work for Winovich to do. He needs to start picking up some sacks. Winovich will be a major part of New England’s pass rush. If he doesn’t start getting to the QB, New England will have some problems.

But this was a good start for Winovich. He once again showed his ability to get to the ball carrier but hopefully he will start getting to the quarterback soon enough.
