Predicting five New England Patriots players who will come up big against the Seattle Seahawks in the Week 2 battle.

Coming off a 21-11 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 1, Cam Newton and the New England Patriots will look to take their act on the road against a very tough Seattle Seahawks team in a Sunday night primetime matchup.

In a game that will feature two of the more dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL in Newton and Russell Wilson, this game will most likely come down the defense and how Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll draw up schemes to limit the opposing quarterback.

The task will be greater for Belichick because of the weapons around Wilson.  The Patriots coach knows his team will be up for a challenge in limiting the Seahawks offense at CenturyLink Field even with no crowd.

"“We know how tough it’s going to be out there.  It’s always tough against those guys – doesn’t matter where it is.  It could be in a parking lot or wherever the game is,” Belichick said during his Thursday press conference.  “They just compete extremely hard on every down, from snap to whistle, for 60 minutes.  I just have a ton of respect for the Seahawks, for Pete [Carroll], for Russell Wilson and the entire program out there.”"

With the challenge Wilson and the Seahawks’ offense will present for Stephon Gilmore and the Patriots’ defense, the real X-factor in the game will be the New England Patriots offense and whether Cam Newton can generate some sort of aerial attack against the Seahawks’ defense.

Will the running backs and tight ends play more of a role in the passing game?  Will N’Keal Harry have a big game?  Will Julian Edelman torch the Seattle Seahawks like he did in Super Bowl XLIX?

Those are just a couple of the questions the Patriots offense will have to answer on the field on Sunday night in what will definitely be a measuring stick for the entire team.
