Julian Edelman balled it out

Yes, Julian Edelman performed as predicted in this game.  He actually had a career night with 8 receptions and 179 yards receiving.

It was just a gutsy performance for Edelman who caught a couple deep passes from Cam Newton really showing off his versatility.

With an average yards per reception of 22.4, Edelman again proved hard to stop for the Seattle Seahawks secondary.  With N’Keal Harry and Damiere Byrd also coming up with big catches, the aerial attack may indeed be the surprise factor of the 2020 NFL season.

In all, Julian Edelman really feels the team got something from this game in how they battled and showed fight to the end.

"“You tip your hat to Seattle,” Edelman said, via Patriots.com.  “They are a very good football team.  But, you also have to look at the men in the locker room.  We learned a lot tonight from these guys.  When you’re down two scores with four minutes to go across the country against a really good football team and come back.  We knew it was going to come down to the last play.  We kept on saying that this whole week and it literally came to the last play.  They got us, but we are proud of how we fought as a team.”"

It really left a good feeling if you are a Patriots fan.  Not only did the team show fight, they proved they can provide enough offense to stay with team’s like Seattle.  Also, as long as the overall team take on the personality of a Julian Edelman, its going to be a fun season indeed.
