Boston Celtics turn up the Heat: 3 studs who erupted in Game 5 vs Miami
Jaylen Brown is the passion of the Boston Celtics
Along with Marcus Smart, one player who wasn’t letting the Boston Celtics go down without a fight was Jaylen Brown.
From start to finish, Brown played with heart and passion on both ends of the court. With a display of leadership, the Celtics young wing delivered 28 points and 8 rebounds in the 121-108 runaway victory over the Miami Heat.
In combination with Jayson Tatum, Brown imposed his will on the Heat during that blazing third quarter in which the team went on a 20-3 run to take a lead they would never relinquish and he made sure of that with back-to-back threes early in the fourth quarter and even blew a kiss to the Miami Heat bench:
In all, Jaylen Brown has been outstanding in the bubble. When he plays the way he did Friday night along with Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker delivering, the Celtics are practically unbeatable.
Obviously, it all started with the defensive effort, but after halftime the Celtics just bought in. They did not want to go home and simply showed up. As Brown said following the game, they “looked like the team we all know and love.”
If that team continues to show up, they have a shot to go beyond this series and win it all.
