New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton didn’t light it up stat wise in Week 3, but this meme was certainly the highlight of Twitter.

With just 162 yards passing in the New England Patriots Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Cam Newton didn’t light it up statistically, but he found a way to provide the most entertainment on social media.

Other than Rex Burkhead’s dazzling leap into the end zone and Sony Michel’s two big gain runs, Newton’s sideline antics turned into a meme on Twitter that even had sports shows talking on Monday.

After the game was basically put away, take a look at what Cam Newton did on the bench that provided great entertainment on the social media outlet:

This gif was used several times after the game.  Mainly Twitter uses were putting captions on what N’Keal Harry could’ve said to Newton to cause such a hilarious reaction.

After the run game and defense led the team to victory, it was encouraging to see that the Patriots don’t need a superhuman effort from Cam Newton to win games.  Besides a nice quarterback run in the second half, Newton didn’t do much running at all.  With how Rex Burkhead, Sony Michel and undrafted rookie J.J. Taylor were running the ball, he didn’t have to.

One Twitter user highlighted that by offering his interpretation of what caused the classic reaction:

There were other great captions put on this meme and it’s a good bet it will be used all season long and for years to come.  But what was Harry really saying to Cam Newton?

Well, the Patriots entertaining quarterback is leaving it up to fans to keep guessing.

"“I’m just going to keep that discussion on the field,” Newton said when asked about the funny clip that had Twitter rolling, via Patriots.com.  “I don’t think anything good – I just think it’s better that people wonder what we were talking about rather than actually knowing, and to be honest with you, I don’t even know.  I was trying to read his lips, you know what I mean.”"

Keeping them guessing is what this new Patriots offense has been doing on the field behind the dynamic talent of one Cam Newton.  Now, he will keep fans guessing off the field as to what led to a meme that just might overtake the Crying Jordan meme as the most used on Twitter.

Oh, it’s going to be a very entertaining season for the New England Patriots.  It’s very nice to see run being had win or lose.
