New England Patriots: 3 players to watch against Arizona – No.1: Stephon Gilmore

No matter what team you root for, all eyes will be on Stephon Gilmore. He has a chance to prove that he is still a top corner and worth investing in.

Gilmore has struggled so far in 2020. Poor play and injuries have made it seem like his days in New England are numbered. At this point, it appears that J.C. Jackson can do his job for a better price.

That is what makes Week 12 so interesting for Gilmore. He is going up against a quality quarterback in Murray and also will likely be matched up with one of the best wideouts in the entire NFL in Hopkins.

If Gilmore is able to limit Hopkins and maybe even come away with an interception it will be a statement. Gilmore will be telling the league that he is still the best at his position and that he is still capable of locking down opponents.

So Patriots fans will definitely be paying attention to these players on Sunday. Even though it won’t do much to increase New England’s playoff chances, it would be nice to see the team walk away with a win.

Next. Julian Edelman still has some football left. dark

It would prove that with just a few changes, the Patriots could be back in the playoff hunt in 2021.
