Tatum has continued to improve as his career progressed. 2020 he made it to his first All-Star team and averaged over 20 points for the first time in his career.

So what’s next for Tatum?

Tatum needs to become a top-five player in the NBA. He needs to carry the Celtics this season.

Another part of Tatum’s journey to superstardom will be getting to the foul line more. Tatum needs to start getting those superstar calls.

On Wednesday, Celtics fans will be hoping to see Tatum start off the season on the right foot. Having Tatum score 30 points against Giannis and the Bucks would be a great start to the NBA season.

With no Walker, Tatum will be the player that his teammates look towards. He needs to a consistent scorer but also a quality leader.

It might be one game, but Tatum’s performance will show just how far the Celtics can go this year.
