New England Patriots: Three players who ended 2020 season on a high note – No.3: J.C. Jackson

One Patriots player who actually managed to have a quality season in 2020 was J.C. Jackson. He was the best defensive player on the team and it’s still stunning that he didn’t make the Pro Bowl roster.

While Jackson struggled at times, he mostly locked down some of the NFL’s best wideouts. He proved that life without Stephon Gilmore might not be too bad.

Jackson was able to snag eight interceptions this season including one on Sunday. He was one of the best corners in the entire NFL. New England would be smart to lock him up to a long-term deal.

So that’s it. The 2020 season is over Patriots fans.

Now we hope that the team makes the right decisions in the draft and the offseason. After a disappointing offseason, New England’s front office will be facing a lot of pressure. This might be the first offseason where these moves could make or break the team.
