Boston Red Sox: There they go again with the sustainable business
Dave Dombrowski did the job for the Boston Red Sox
Oh my, what a shock for Mr. Bloom. Indeed, Boston Red Sox fans should feel bad for Mr. Bloom who is tasked with rescuing a highly overpaid, older Red Sox team from the club’s previous supposedly “profligate” former Head of Baseball Operations.
The aspersions cast upon that former President of Baseball Operations, Dave Dombrowski are scurrilous. Foolish. Ludicrous. What else, oh yes, laughable.

It seems that that exact result hoped for, longed for, and certainly dreamed for Red Sox faithful, Nation, winning an MLB Championship in 2018, was indeed achieved in 2018. or was that just a dream? Dombroski put that team together. He did what he had to do, to win the big prize. And did.
Yet, how quickly fickle Red Sox fans easily turned on the architect of a World Series winner, an aspiration hoped for those 86 years before the breakthrough in 2004.
Then, a year later it was all about luxury taxes owed, how he depleted the farm system and paid bloated salaries for declining players. What a complete joke.
Boston won another championship and three AL East titles. Not shabby. Not too shabby at all.
Wasn’t that the objective? But soon enough after the title-winning season, Dombrowski was fired. One bad season and out.
