1. Craig Smith is on a tear for the Boston Bruins

When Craig Smith was acquired it was an interesting move for the Bruins. Smith is a winger who simply puts shots on net. You would hope that he would create some chances for his teammates but recently Smith has been scoring just fine on his own.

Smith scored another goal on Thursday to bring his total on the season to 10. With the Bruins on the powerplay, Smith launched a shot from between the faceoff circles and into the net.

As of late, Smith has been on fire. In his last 14 games, Smith has 16 points.

If Smith is playing well then the Bruins have some amazing depth. They no longer have to rely on the first line doing all the scoring.

So Boston Bruins fans should be really excited. The B’s are playing great hockey and if they continue to do so the Stanley Cup could be making its way back to Boston.
