Boston Bruins: 3 takeaways from wild Game 2 win over Washington: Jake DeBrusk is still on fire

So far the MVP for the Boston Bruins in the playoffs has to be Jake DeBrusk. He has consistently been able to make an impact for the B’s and continued on Monday night.

In Game Two, DeBrusk was once again able to get on the score sheet. He slotted home the first goal of the game for the Bruins which was his second goal of the postseason.

But DeBrusk is doing much more than just scoring. He is also skating hard and getting involved in the dirty areas. He isn’t afraid to be physical and looks like a much better player.

Bruce Cassidy made a bold decision to put DeBrusk back on the right wing alongside Charlie Coyle and Nick Ritchie. It seems like that move paid off.

If DeBrusk can continue to score, Boston will be a tough team to beat. Hopefully, he is able to maintain this momentum for the rest of the playoffs.

It’s safe to say that the Bruns made the right decision by not trading away DeBrusk. He will be a major part of their success moving forward.
