3. Boston Celtics third-year wing Romeo Langford solid off the bench

Boston Celtics third-year wing Romeo Langford seems to be the forgotten young player on the team, but if his health is there this season, he can be an X-factor for the team off the bench.

In the double overtime loss against the New York Knicks, Langford was one of the positives for the Celtics.  He not only contributed 10 points in 23 minutes off the bench, but he continued his hot shooting from the outside.

With Josh Richardson sidelined, Langford made the most of his opportunity by showing he can knock down the outside shot.  With Aaron Nesmith and Payton Pritchard struggling on the night, Langford’s contribution was key for Ime Udoka and was a nice step forward for the third-year wing who really has yet to log consistent minutes in his young career.

Known for what he can do on the defensive end of the court, if Langford can continue to show an ability to score, he will continue to get those minutes and really show that he is not a first-round bust.

It was just the opening night of the season, but if he continues to show off that offensive aggressiveness and shoot with confidence, Romeo Langford will make that Boston Celtics bench a more deeper bench.
