New England Patriots take their show overseas to Germany in 2023
We’re all starting to foam at the mouth for a new season of New England Patriots football.
With the way the 2022 season ended, you can’t blame Patriots fans for wanting to move forward and get the 2023 season underway!
The official full NFL schedule release is coming up on Thursday. It’s like Christmas in May for all of us NFL fans.
We got a little preview of the schedule for 2023 as the overseas games have been announced. Games will be played in London and in Germany.
The New England Patriots will be one of the fortunate teams traveling abroad this season as they will make their way to Frankfurt, Germany for a regular season game.
New England Patriots playing the Indianapolis Colts in Germany
The schedule has the New England Patriots playing the Indianapolis Colt during week 10 of the 2023 NFL season, on November 12th. For those watching in the United States, kickoff will be at 9:30 AM EST.
If you recall last season, the Patriots easily defeated the Colts in Foxborough by a score of 26-3, with defense and special teams leading the way.

This time around, a few things will be different. The Colts will be having 2023 first round pick Anthony Richardson under center. Shane Steichen is the new head coach, after coming over in February from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Then on the Patriots side of things, Bill O’Brien is taking over the offensive play calling. Which is great because his presence is already being made and heard loud and clear with the players!
So although there are some new pieces in this year’s matchup, it should be an entertaining game for all that attend/watch on television.

It seems like a lot of people in the U.S. hate the Patriots for a variety of reasons. The six Super Bowl titles, the supposed cheating allegations, Tom Brady when he was here, and many other reasons add up to the hatred.
With being overseas, it’s a great opportunity for the NFL to further grow their game and it’s great for the Patriots to get some new fans in the fanbase. Obviously, it’s not a popularity contest and the Patriots organization could care less about how others view them from the outside.
But it is sort of cool to see just how diehard other fanbases across the world can be!

Again, this is a really cool opportunity. But business is business per usual with Bill Belichick and company.

By the time the New England Patriots get to Germany, we will know what type of team they are. Hopefully, they’ll be above .500 and this Colts game can add onto their consistent style of play.
