3 Things the Patriots Should Add to their Christmas Wishlist
Wish 3: The Raiders and the Giants Start Winning
If the draft were to be held today, New England would boast pick #3. Yes, exactly like 2024. However, with no solidified #1, who knows where either of these franchises will go?
Certainly, one can guess they would take a quarterback. However, with Heisman trophy winner Travis Hunter sitting there, would one opt to wait?
Shedeur Sanders seems like the likely top quarterback taken, perhaps the first overall pick, but is Cam Ward the solidified #2?
So, what I am getting at, is it would be nice for New England to finish higher than 3. Since the options for Wolf are plentiful. Trade back to recoup more picks? Stay and get Hunter or someone else?
While sitting at 3 is not bad, moving into the top two would be ideal.
The worst case? Sliding back to 4. With Jacksonville looming behind, Hunter may be off the board before New England has a chance. Since like the Pats, the Jags are not in need of a QB.
So, if Santa Claus has any magic left in him after the first two wishes, giving some wins to these opposing two franchises would be the cherry on top of a great Christmas.
