Key Patriots Playmaker Set to Return to Action in Week 7
The New England Patriots and the Jacksonville Jaguars are slated to match up in an AFC showdown over in London. Each team sits at 1-5 and looks to get back into the win column.
It hasn't been an exciting couple of weeks for the Pats, as they've dropped five games in a row. Despite the losing streak, the vibes aren't completely dead with New England. That's because Drake Maye is now the starter and gives the team some more juice. He was dealing with a knee injury this week but will suit up on Sunday.
Maye and the entire offense will always love to hear what Rhamondre Stevenson said on Friday as well.
Patriots News: Rhamondre Stevenson Expects To Play in Week 7
Stevenson was speaking to reporters after practice and thinks he'll be available on Sunday. He said, "I'm feeling like I should be ready to play on Sunday."
Prior to participating in Friday's practice, he missed the previous five practices but looked good out there in a video that was posted on X/Twitter.
Stevenson suffered a foot injury in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins that forced him to miss last week's game against the Houston Texans. It appears he will be ready to give it a go on Sunday, and that will positively affect the offense.
This season, he has 77 carries for 356 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Having a nice rushing attack will only help Maye and the Patriots' offense on Sunday.
