The New England Patriots have crossed the pond and are slated to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars over in London during the last contest of the 2024 London Games.

Even though they are 1-5 on the season, last week rookie quarterback Drake Maye made the first start of his career. He went No. 3 overall for a reason and showcased his raw talents in Week 6. He went 20-of-33 for 243 yards with three passing touchdowns.

Maye popped up on Wednesday's injury report with a knee injury but will be ready to roll on Sunday.

Maye was speaking with team reporters on Friday and expressed he will be ready to roll on Sunday.

"I'm feeling good. ... Ready to go for Sunday."

The 22-year-old didn't answer when he actually hurt his knee but he was listed as a full participant at practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

Maye gives the Pats' offense some extra juice due to his athleticism and rocket of an arm. In his lone start, New England had a season-high 209 passing yards. He will have a chance to have another solid outing, as the Jaguars are ranked 31st in total defense (390) but last in pass defense (276.7).

Last week, Caleb Williams threw 226 yards and four passing touchdowns against this Jacksonville secondary. Maye will have opportunities to torch this defense and help the Patriots snap their five-game losing streak.

New England has opened up as 5.5 underdogs according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
