The New England Patriots are 2-6 on the season as we enter Week 9 of the regular season. Last week, they secured a thrilling 25-22 win over the New York Jets in an AFC East battle.

The Patriots have a road contest against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. While they look to win their second game in a row, the trade deadline is on Nov. 5. This is the final stretch for teams to make additions to the roster via trade.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler wrote an article discussing the buzz around the league and talked about what moves the Patriots are looking to make.

Patriots Rumors: New England is Looking for Help Along the Offensive Line

Fowler revealed that the Patriots are gauging the market for offensive line help.

"The Patriots have been looking for offensive line help. They looked into Cam Robinson before the Jaguars traded him to the Vikings, and they've also been in touch with free agent offensive tackle D.J. Humphries. "

New England looked into acquiring Cam Robinson and contacted free agent D.J. Humphries. This isn't a surprise to Patriot fans. New England is third in the NFL in sacks allowed (27) and wants to solidify this position group.

Drake Maye is the signal-caller going forward for this team, so getting more stability upfront is a massive need. The protection along the offensive line hasn't been good enough and New England knows it.

They are in the beginning stages of a rebuild but know keeping their quarterbacks upfront is important. Especially when you have a rookie under center with Maye.
