3. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR

Let's just say that JuJu Smith-Schuster might be on thin ice for...other reasons than just the impending 2024 NFL Draft class.

The Patriots have one of the worst collections of wide receivers in the NFL already, so you can expect them to address that in the 2024 NFL Draft. They brought back Kendrick Bourne (who is coming off of an injury) and they signed KJ Osborn. In combination with JuJu Smith-Schuster already on the roster, the Patriots have one of the best collections of WR4-types of players in the league.

But there's nobody more in danger of losing their roster spot or spot in the projected 2024 rotation right now than Smith-Schuster for the Patriots at receiver. Not only could the Patriots easily duplicate or improve upon his insignificant production (29 receptions, 260 yards, 1 TD) from a season ago, but they could rid themselves of the off-field distraction he's capable of being.

Heck, the Patriots could shock everyone and take someone like Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, or Rome Odunze with the 3rd overall pick. You never know. Either way, even if the Patriots wait until the 2nd or 3rd round to take a receiver, Smith-Schuster should be considered very much on thin ice heading into the draft.
