2. TE Jacob Warren, Tennessee

When it comes to the Patriots' tight end depth chart, the first two spots go to Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper, respectively, without question. Having said that, there really isn't a concrete order beyond the duo.

The Patriots still have 27-year-old veteran Mitchell Wilcox, as well as Jaheim Bell, who they drafted 231st overall last week. In other words, UDFA Jacob Warren has a solid shot at competing for the team's TE3/4 spots.

Warren spent the majority of his collegiate career as a blocker but still managed to showcase his offensive abilities now and again. He caught a total of 53 balls throughout his five-year run, resulting in 607 yards and eight touchdowns — with four of those TDs coming in his final campaign.

Protecting Maye is crucial to the Patriots' future success, so adding another solid blocker in Warren makes a ton of sense. There's also the fact that New England used a sixth-round pick to draft Joe Milton, who was Warren's QB during their time with the Volunteers.

Even if Maye is set to be the face of the franchise, it doesn't hurt to keep your (potential) future backup QB happy, too.
