As we all know by now, things move along extremely fast in the NFL. Only a week ago, the New England Patriots were riding high after a Bengals victory on the road and fans were feeling good about what was to come for the rest of the season. After a blowout loss on Thursday Night Football to the New York Jets, the tone around Foxborough has changed dramatically.

The Patriots were thoroughly dominated on both ends of the football immediately from the kickoff. If anything, New England was lucky that it was only an 11-point game at halftime. The second half didn't fare much better and the game was basically over after three quarters. If we can generously categorize the first three quarters as the competitive portion of the game, the Patriots had 81 offensive yards to the Jets' 352.

Jacoby Brissett faced constant pressure from the Jets' defense and never had a chance to get the offense going. Every starting member of the offensive line gave up a QB pressure and the Patriots allowed four sacks in the first three quarters of the game.

On the other end, Aaron Rodgers didn't feel uncomfortable once. He completed 27 of his 35 passes for 281 yards, threw two touchdown passes, and was in complete control the entire game.

The tackling was especially disastrous, even the best defenders on the roster like Christian Gonzalez and Jahlani Tavai missed basic tackles.

To sum it up, it was a collectively miserable performance. It's hard to pinpoint who the most to blame is. What is not difficult, however, is to decide who is on thin ice after that embarrassing loss. Let's take a look.
