The New England Patriots are transitioning into a different phase in their team's history. They have a new coach and GM calling the shots and will also have a new signal caller under center.

They also need to add more talent to the roster as head into the year as the worst team in the division, looking up to the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets.

They have made some quality veteran additions in free agency and WR K.J. Osborn was one of them. Osborn spoke with the media and gave some insight into what his expectations are.

He said, "I know what I signed up for. I know it's going to be a grind. I want to be someone who helps this organization get back to where it needs to be."

Osborn came over on a one-year, $4 million deal and can be worth up to $6 million. The Miami product is brought in to be a productive playmaker for an offense that needs some juice. He understands that things won't be easy this year but he's ready to work.

The Pats own the No. 3 overall pick and there is a good chance they select either Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye with that selection to become the franchise quarterback.

They have Jacoby Brissett on the roster to be that veteran presence and Osborn's job to be get open for whoever in under center.

In his three-year career, Osborn has reeled in 158 receptions for 1,845 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns. The 26-year-old has been an effective playmaker in the league and hopes to bring that over to New England.

There are blue-chip prospects in this draft and the Pats will have a tough decision to make with the third overall pick. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Drake Maye (-150) is the favorite to be the selection. If you want to take lock-in of these odds, head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and claim your sign-up bonus.
