Massive Shakeup in Bill Belichick Next Team Odds Sees NFC Squad Climb

Bill Belichick is on the market for first time in 24 years after departing from the New England Patriots on Jan. 7. The future Hall-of-Fame coach is just 15 wins away from breaking Don Shula's all-time head coaching record of 347 wins.

Several teams are linked to the 71-year-old coach due to his extensive resume.

A week ago, the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook favored Belichick becoming the next HC of the Los Angeles Chargers.

However, on Monday, Belichick completed an interview with the Atlanta Falcons. There's since been a massive shift in the odds of where the eight-time Super Bowl champion would be coaching in 2024.

The Falcons have an abundance of young offensive skilled players who have flashed. That is where Belichick seemed to have some trouble during his last few years in New England. With the likes of Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts and Drake London already in Atlanta, the Tennessee native wouldn't have to retool the entire offense.

Even Rob Gronkowski hinted at Atlanta's pursuit of his former coach.

This is something fans should keep a close eye on. Gronkowski and Belichick always had a strong bond and he alluded to Belichick having the fire to coach in this league going forward. Nothing is set in stone since it's still early in the head coaching search, but Belichick and Atlanta may be due for a mutual agreement down the line.
