The New England Patriots have dealt with a lot this offseason since they handed over the reins to Jerod Mayo and Eliot Wolf.

They had their work cut out for them to build a quality team and had some tough decisions to make. This week teams around the NFL had to get their rosters down to 53 men and the Patriots made some cuts.

But just a few days after they released a draft bust, they brought him back on Thursday afternoon.

Patriots News: New England Brought Back Jalen Reagor

Per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald, the Pats have signed wide receiver Jalen Reagor to the practice squad.

The Pats also added defensive end Brevin Allen, guard Jerome Carvin, defensive tackle Trysten Hill, offensive lineman Bryan Hudson, and guard Michael Jordan to the practice squad.

Back in Aug. 2023, the Patriots added Reagor to the practice squad before eventually elevating him to the active roster.

In 11 games with the Patriots last season, the TCU product had seven targets (23 targets) for 138 yards and 19.7 yards per reception.

Although those aren't eye-popping stats, he showcased enough to get brought back for OTAs and training camp this summer. In the preseason, Reagor had two catches for 10 yards but also provided some value as a returner.

The Pats have been aggressive over the last couple of months to acquire some top pass catchers like Calvin Ridley and Brandon Aiyuk. Unfortunately, they've struck out so bringing back someone like Reagor gives them more depth heading into the 2024 season.
