The New England Patriots have dropped three games in a row and are now 1-3. Everyone knows they are rebuilding but the product on the field has been underwhelming, especially on the offensive end.

After four games, the Patriots are 32nd in the NFL in total offense (238.8) and passing offense (112.3) but 31st in scoring offense (13). One of the biggest problems is along the offensive line, where New England is second in sacks allowed (17).

That has led to the Pats looking at other avenues to improve the team and they brought in an offensive lineman for a workout on Tuesday.

Patriots News: OL Jesse Davis Brought in for a Workout

According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, New England had OT/G Jesse Davis in for a workout as they look for more depth and quality along the offensive line.

Davis is someone who has a lot of experience in this league. Over 95 career games, he's started 72 games for the Miami Dolphins from 2017-2023.

He's also spent time with the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, and Seattle Seahawks.

In addition to his playing experience, he can play both guard and tackle. Those are two places New England could use some help.

New England is dealing with a lot of injuries along the offensive. David Andrews, Vederian Lowe, Caedan Wallace, and Michael Jordan are all listed as questionable for the Week 5 tilt against the Miami Dolphins.

We'll see how the next couple of days unfold to see if Davis will be joining the Pats up in Foxborough.
