The New England Patriots have a lot of moving parts and questions to answer in 2024. That isn't surprising as they made a bunch of moves this offseason.

The Patriots have a young roster so there will be some ups and downs this season but one rookie has been consistent.

And he's climbing the depth chart with each passing day.

Patriots News: Ja’Lynn Polk Is Continuing His Stellar Play

At Thursday's practice, rookie wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk was the only receiver for the offense in a heavy grouping.

Since being selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Polk has been a constant playmaker for this group.

It started during the spring and carried over into OTA's. Now his stellar play has transitioned into training camp.

Even in Friday's practice, Polk was seen winning a one-on-one rep against cornerback Christian Gonzalez.

Polk is such a smooth route runner who wins with leverage, precision, and owns strong hands. He can also rise up and bring down those contested catches.

Last season for the Washington Huskies, he recorded 69 catches for 1,159 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns.

The Pats WR corp doesn't have a clear No. 1 option and Polk has emerged throughout the offseason. New England's aerial attack needs a lot of work but the 22-year-old has shown he can step up.

New England's first preseason game takes place on Aug. 8 against the Carolina Panthers. This will be his first opportunity to make his Pats debut and if he balls out the way he has in practice, he will basically be guaranteed that he'll have a significant role for the team this season.
