The New England Patriots are in the midst of a pivotal offseason. As they are about to enter their first season without Bill Belichick as the ultimate decision-maker, all eyes are on them to see how they kick off this rebuild. The main focus is understandably the 2024 NFL Draft.

Armed with the third overall pick, the Patriots have a chance to land a real difference-maker in the draft. However, there hasn't been a clear consensus about who that player will be or even what position they will be playing.

Patriots fans can rest easy, however, as owner Robert Kraft once again has an idea about what he wants to see the front office do.

Patriots News: Robert Kraft Wants To Draft a Quarterback

Kraft is crystal clear about his desire to land a "top-rate quarterback" this offseason. Considering that there aren't any left in free agency and the only surefire way to do that in the draft is through a first-round pick, it's obvious what Kraft is signaling to general manager Eliot Wolf.

Drafting their next franchise quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick is probably the right decision for the Patriots. With two of Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy, and Jayden Daniels guaranteed to be there at No. 3, New England has a chance to kickstart their new era with a new face of the franchise.

However, should Kraft be meddling in the decision-making process like this? That is an entirely different question.

Currently, Drake Maye is the favorite (-140) on FanDuel Sportsbook to be the Patriots' selection at No. 3. If you want to take advantage of these odds, head over to FanDuel and don't forget to claim your sign-up offer of $200 in bonus bets after you make your first winning wager.
