Tom Brady Roast Was Nearly Ruined By Shocking Joke On Banned Topic
By Cem Yolbulan
The Roast of Tom Brady aired on Netflix this past weekend but the fallout is still ongoing. There were plenty of hilarious jokes, notable moments, and ensuing drama. For Patriots fans, seeing the gang back together again was certainly enjoyable.
However, it sounds like the night almost came to a premature end.
One memorable moment from the night was when Tom Brady looked visibly upset when Jeff Ross made a joke about Robert Kraft. He got up from his seat and warned the Roast Master to never say that again.
Now, we are finding out that massage jokes about Kraft were forbidden to comedians and Brady was ready to shut the whole thing down. Comedian Andrew Schulz, who was part of the roast, said that they were warned not to make jokes about Kraft and he was forced to delete one he wrote for the occasion.
Tom Brady Had One Banned Joke Topic For His Netflix Roast
It is certainly interesting that one red line Brady had for the night was about his former employer Robert Kraft.
On a night that was filled with jokes about his divorce and family, as well as deceased teammate Aaron Hernandez, Brady drawing the line at jokes about his former boss is a curious decision that will leave fans wondering.
The tension between Brady and Ross wasn't the only one from the night. Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick reportedly shared their own tense moment backstage.
Regardless of what one thinks about the Roast of Tom Brady, the drama surrounding Kraft, Belichick, and Brady will never cease to intrigue fans.
