WATCH: Apple TV Drops Trailer for Explosive Patriots Documentary

The New England Patriots' season from hell has left many Patriots fans pining for the team's glory days. Just a few years ago, they were on top of the NFL world. Now, they're basically at the bottom.

With New England mercifully on bye this week, Patriots fans must look elsewhere for their fill of football content. Fortunately for them, Apple TV just dropped an exciting new trailer on Friday morning for its upcoming documentary series on New England's dynasty.

The new 10-part documentary series is titled "The Dynasty: New England Patriots" and debuts on Apple TV on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024. That will be five days after the Super Bowl, which the Patriots surely won't be playing in this year after winning six of them during their titular dynasty.

Based on the trailer, this documentary has the potential to be explosive. The three main players in New England's historic run -- owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady -- we're all interviewed.

The trailer intercuts shots of them sitting and waiting to answer questions with celebratory highlights from the team's many championships. The brief 30-second teaser ends on an ominous note, however, with Kraft saying “We were coming near the end, and I was just trying to hold it together the best I could.”

This is an obvious reference to the waning days of the dynasty before Brady left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, playing three more seasons with the Bucs and adding another Super Bowl ring to his Hall of Fame resume. The Patriots haven't won a playoff game since Brady left, let alone a championship, and many have speculated that Belichick's time with the team could be coming to an end soon as well.

The dynasty is over, but at least this documentary will give sad New England fans a chance to relive it and distract themselves from the ugly present.
