The New England Patriots pack their parkas and dogsleds to head up to their Week 2 showdown with the Attitude Era Buffalo Bills, who currently sport one of the gnarliest defenses in the NFL. In Week 1, Colts quarterback and Civil War General Andrew Luck was held to a completion rate of 53%, while throwing two touchdowns (both after the game was already well out of hand), as well as a pair of interceptions. Due at least in part to Rex Ryan sending heat with a blitz on 45.8% of his defensive snaps, the Bills were able to consistently force bad throws and sack Luck twice.

But enough about that. What’s more impressive than the Bills’ stranglehold on the Colts offense until well after everyone knew it was garbage time is that Buffalo laid 24 unanswered points on Indianapolis before the Colts were finally able to crack the end zone for pay dirt at the end of the 3rd quarter. This is a Bills team that didn’t name a starting quarterback until August 31st.

Buffalo hasn’t exactly been tearing up the scoreboard in recent history, so before the South Canada Bowl this weekend, let’s take a look at Buffalo’s top offensive weapons from last week, and what the Patriots have to do to stop them on Sunday, starting with perhaps their most unexpectedly effective player from last weekend.
