Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints
An ugly Saints team at 0-3, and a Tony Romo and Dez Bryant less Cowboys’ squad is probably not exactly what NBC was thinking when they scheduled this game in this slot, but what can you do?
The Saints’ defensive unit is awful, and even if Drew Brees plays, I have little faith in their offense. The Cowboys may not have their main horses, but the structure of the team is much more solid. It is not going to be pretty, but give me the Cowboys in this one.
Prediction: Cowboys 20, Saints 10
Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks
A similar less than stellar match-up for Monday Night Football as Matthew Stafford leads the Lions into hostile Seattle. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks have not played up to their potential this season, but who honestly sees Stafford going on the road and performing well against the Seahawks’ defense? Not me. Stafford and the Lions’ offense struggle as Wilson leads a conservative offensive attack.
Prediction: Seahawks 19, Lions 10
