Brandon LaFell, the former Patriots receiver, delivered a zinger to the Indianapolis Colts and Patriots haters after Tom Brady‘s suspension was reinstated.

By now, you’ve surely heard that the NFL has won their DeflateGate appeal and Tom Brady will, in fact, be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season.  Monday’s gonna Monday.

A few hours after the verdict was announced on Monday morning, former Patriots receiver Brandon LaFell, who signed with the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason, tweeted a friendly reminder about the dumbest scandal in sports history:

That, of course, would be the score of the 2014 AFC Championship Game, where the Patriots absolutely embarrassed the Indianapolis Colts and earned a trip to the Super Bowl.  It also was the game that spawned the whole DeflateGate mess to begin with, when the Colts, acting on a tip from the Baltimore Ravens, asked the NFL to look into the Patriots’ ball-inflation practices.

LaFell obviously isn’t a Patriot anymore, but his tweet is a great little kick in the nuts to anyone who’s still salty about the Patriots supposedly getting an advantage out of what they were accused of doing.  The AFC Championship was a bloodbath from the start, with the Patriots up by 10 points at halftime and holding the Colts scoreless in the second half while adding another 28 points to the scoreboard for a blowout 45-7 final score.

And in the “Do Your Job” documentary that came out after the Super Bowl last year, Bill Belichick, in the most non-insulting way possible, admitted that the Patriots didn’t really feel like they needed to change their power-run game plan from Jonas Gray‘s 200-yard, four-touchdown game.  It was basically looking at an opponent – with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line – and saying “Yeah, I think we’ll stick with what works.”

So even though Brandon LaFell isn’t suiting up in blue and white anymore, he clearly still has some love for his time with the Patriots.

Plus, we’ll always have his Super Bowl touchdown and the touchdown dance that followed, which belongs in the Museum of Modern Art.  Just watch this thing one more time:

Keep burning the haters, JoJo.
