Boston Bruins Look to Bounce back against the Red Wings

The Boston Bruins continue their road trip and head to the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on Saturday to take on the Detroit Red Wings.

Bruins have matched with original six rivals 592 times. With a record of 243-251-95-3.

The Red Wings are currently in second place in the Atlantic division same as Bruins, who are seventh.

It may be looking up for the B’s as Tuukka Rask has became a possibility for the game today. If he can go it would be a big morale boost for the team. Tuukka was on the ice for practice yesterday, but still no David Backes. Malcolm Subban and Zane McIntyre were also on the ice for practice.

Recap Of Last Game:

More from Boston Bruins

In back-to-back nights the Boston Bruins puke down the front of their sweaters and get destroyed 5-2 against the New York Rangers on the road.

Given the fact the Bruins are badly injured with Tuukka Rask, Anton Khudobin, and David Backes all out with injuries, the loss isn’t that shocking. In fact is was expected with the team playing a back-to-back with rookie goaltenders being their only options.

But even with those details the lose is very frustrating for a team that showed promise and poise early on in the game.

Bruins are going to need to get some more scoring from their offense, and play better in their own end. The best way to keep the other team from scoring, is to play at their end of the ice. We have not seen much of that this season. I have been hearing the names Rask,Subban,McIntyre too much already this season.
