New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady has won his fifth Super Bowl title and at the age of 39 does not plan on retiring anytime soon.

Talk about longevity, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has played in the NFL for 17 years and only seems to be getting better with age.

In an interview with MMQB’s Peter King published earlier this week, the man known as the greatest quarterback of all time revealed when he plans on calling it quits.

"“I’d like to play until my mid-40s,” Brady revealed.  “Then I’ll make a decision.  If I’m still feeling like I’m feeling today, who knows?  Now those things can always change.  You do need long-term goals too.  I know next year is not going to be my last year.”"

More from New England Patriots

Although not a shocking revelation, Brady’s reveal further indicates why backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo may be expendable this offseason.  Unlike Peyton Manning, who was not playing at a high level his final season, Brady is still very much a top quarterback in this league both mentally and physically.

The physical part he attributes to the work and routine he puts in off the field, his lifestyle and his diet.

"“Other than playing football the other thing I love to do is prepare to play football,” Brady continued.  “I’ve worked hard to get a system in place that really works for me and I know could work for everybody else if they just did it.  “That enables me to play 99 plays as a 39-year old in the last game of the season…Football to me is more than just a sport.  It has become my life.  Every choice that I make…what I have for breakfast, how I work out, all of those things.  I love the game.  I love playing.”"

Danny Amendola struts his stuff

One of the unsung heroes of Super Bowl LI has taken his talents to the runway. Just over a week after helping his team win their fifth Super Bowl championship, wide receiver Danny Amendola showed off his modeling skills at a fashion event in New York reports TMZ Sports.

With celebrities such as Madonna, Kylie Jenner, Sofia Richie, and his model girlfriend Olivia Culpo in attendance, Amendola showcased some natural swagger in what could be his career after football.

Glenn Gronkowski signs future contract

According to Patriots.com, the New England Patriots announced Tuesday that they have signed FB Glenn Gronkowski to a future contract.

The younger brother of tight end Rob Gronkowski, the product of Kansas State spent much of the 2016 season on the Patriots practice squad.  At 6-foot-3, 234 pounds, the younger Gronkowski may get a shot at making the team’s 53-man roster to start the 2017 season.

With starting fullback James Develin set for free agency, Glenn Gronkowski may end up becoming a cheaper option if the team loses out on Develin.
