The New England Patriots will open training camp in a few weeks, but even in their off time, some players are working hard to be ready for 2017.

It’s already clear that there is no offseason for New England Patriots QB Tom Brady. In the weeks leading up to the team’s official training camp, he’s in Montana working out with WRs Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola.

While the crew has been getting some high-altitude football work in, they’re also having quite a bit of fun according to their Instagram posts.

Brady and Edelman each posted a photo as a large group prepared to go for what seems to be an extreme mountain bike ride.

Those are from two days ago, and it seems they took things a step further for the 4th of July. Here is some video posted by both Edelman and Amendola as they took some ATV rides for the holiday.

On Wednesday the 5th, we got some look at the football practice their conducting. Brady, Edelman, and Amendola appear to be practicing in helmets and shoulder pads, to go along with the high-altitude.

The high-altitude work will come in handy for the 2017 season, as the New England Patriots will play the Broncos in Denver and the Raiders in Mexico City in back-to-back weeks in November. Denver has an altitude of over 5,000 feet, while Mexico City’s is above 7,000 feet. Those two games will be tough in the thin air, so it’s smart for Brady, Edelman, and Amendola to get that extra work in.

The group is at the Yellowstone Club, which is a frequent destination for TB12 in the winter for skiing. It looks like it could now become a go-to for him in the summer as well.

The New England Patriots will officially open training camp with their first public practice on Thursday, July 27th. Practices from the 27th through the 30th will be open to the public, and each will begin around 9 AM. The Patriots Hall of Fame induction for Raymond Claiborne will also be held on the 29th.
