Hey Patriots fans at least you got the Boston Bruins
By Sam Minton
After a rough loss in the Super Bowl, Boston sports fans should turn their eyes to the Boston Bruins.
Well, last night sucked. The Patriots lost in the Super Bowl and a cloud of sadness fell over New England, but Boston sports fans, there is hope. The Boston Bruins seem to get pushed aside until after the Pats season is over. As of late, that has been till after the Super Bowl. If you haven’t paid attention the Bruins are having a hell of a season.
The Boston Bruins currently are in second place in the Eastern Conference. They are coming off an 18 game points streak where they were dominating opponents.
This team is really fun to watch. With all the young talent like Charlie McAvoy, Danton Heinen, Jake DeBrusk, and Matt Grzelcyk they have come out and surprised a lot of people.

McAvoy is having an amazing season. He has 5 goals and 20 assists and is a Calder Trophy candidate. Heinen came out of nowhere and is now one of the top scorers on this team. He has 11 goals and 24 assists.
The Bruins first line is the most dominant line in the NHL right now. The combination of Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, and Brad Marchand has been absolutely insane. They have combined for 64 goals and 79 assists.
Also after some struggles in the goaltending department, the group has been pretty solid. Tuukka Rask has been playing phenomenal. He has a 20 game point streak of his own. In that span, Rask has a 1.59 goals against average and a .941 save percentage. Anton Khudobin has also been a solid backup. After a hot streak where he had a winning streak of his own the goaltender has cooled off but still is having a good season. Khudobin is 10-3-4 with a 2.36 goals against average and a save percentage of .924.
