The Boston Bruins are looking to even up the series on Friday night. It looks like they will get some help from their stud rookie winger, Ryan Donato.

Finally, Ryan Donato’s time has come. Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy is looking for every possible solution to crack the Lightning’s code. Cassidy will be bringing Donato down from the 9th floor and onto the ice where he belongs.

The Bruins need a jolt of life and Donato should be able to reenergize the squad.

The Bruins need scoring. They have only scored three goals in their last two games, while the Lightning have scored eight goals in the same amount of games.

More from Boston Bruins

Donato is the perfect player to put into the lineup. He has a sick wrist shot and was able to score 5 goals in just 12 games. Hopefully on Friday night Donato will be able to get his first goal in the postseason.

Game time decisions???

Bruce Cassidy also announced that both Jake Debrusk and Brad Marchand will be game time decisions for tonight’s contest.

The Bruins can not afford to lose these guys. Just like Cassidy said I expect them to play. I think they would have to lose a limb in order to be out for such an important game.

DeBrusk and Donato should be a dangerous duo on the 2nd line. They both have great speed and goal-scoring ability. I would expect game 4 to be a big one for the two rookies.

Whose playing?

Well the lines have been released and I for one did not see this coming

I like the move of moving Sean Kuraly to the 3rd line. Riley Nash has been playing awful. The entire third line has struggled. This is a bold move by Cassidy to take Nash out of the lineup.

Ryan Donato is playing on the 3rd line and not the 2nd line as I suspected. He will be skating alongside veteran Brian Gionta who is playing for the first time this postseason. Gionta will be a solid veteran presence to support Donato.

Besides that the lines are the same. David Backes is just on the bottom line and Noel Acciari is playing center.
