New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is absent from voluntary OTAs, but Pats fans shouldn’t be worried.

Ah, the controversy continues. For the first time in 10 years, Tom Brady is missing from voluntary workouts. Even though there will be plenty of articles talking about how this means the New England Patriots dynasty is coming to an end, there is no reason to worry.

Brady has changed a lot as a player and as a human being. In his later years he has become more concerned with enjoying his time and maintaining a positive attitude. It is one of the key parts of the TB12 method.

Also, we know that Brady is in great shape. He workouts with Alex Guerrero and we even saw him running with a parachute.

This looks like a guy who is about to run for a thousand yards.

The only reason to be worried about Brady missing the workouts is that he is missing time with his receivers.  These are valuable reps for rookies such as Braxton Berrios. Also, Malcolm Mitchell is returning from an injury and will take some time to readjust.

Still, Brady will gladly fly his guys out and have some throwing sessions in Wyoming or some great place if necessary.

Also, it appears that Brady isn’t skipping all offseason activities.

If for some reason Brady isn’t at mini-camp my hand would start to hover over the panic button. They say there is a first time for everything, so let’s not freak out over Tom Brady missing voluntary workouts.
