Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand is known for getting under people’s skin. It seems that fans across the NHL think he is the best in the league.

Brad Marchand found success being the guy who gets opposing players off their game. The Boston Bruins winger is known for his antics both on and off the ice. Marchand’s antics have led to his notoriety around the NHL as a “dirty” player and one of the biggest pests in the league.

In addition to the traditional awards that are given out in the offseason, the NHL has their fan choice awards that are strictly voted on by fans of the game. Marchand was nominated for the best chirper award and ended up winning by over 15,000 votes.

Now Bruins fans and Marchand will gladly accept the award. One of the main reasons I am such a big Brad Marchand fan is because of his chippiness and antics on the ice. Marchand caused the entire NHL media to flip out just because he licked a guy on the ice. It was amazing.

More from Boston Bruins

Marchand also has quite the Twitter game as well. Wheather it’s chirping a teammate, calling a Boston media member a pig, or trashing the entire city of Vancouver.

Still my all time favorite has to be this brutal chirp of the Montreal Canadiens.

Brad Marchand isn’t the most popular guy in the NHL. It seems like everyone in the league hates him, but to Boston Bruins fans he is our own little ball of hate.
