New England Patriots: 5 players we wish were in New England
By Sam Minton
The New England Patriots have plenty of great players on their roster, but with ESPN releasing its top 100 players, let’s take a look at some of the talent across the league that we wish were in New England.
There is no doubt that the New England Patriots have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. There are favorites to win the Super Bowl and add another banner to Gillette Stadium this season (rightfully so).
ESPN released their top 100 players and even though there may be a few errors, (how is Tom Brady not No.1 ESPN?) it shows off some of the top talent in the NFL.
Now as much as I love my Patriots, there are definitely a few players I wish were playing in New England. So here are 5 players that I wished were playing for the Patriots

Antonio Brown
Antonio Brown shines brightly both on and off the field. He is an amazing receiver who possesses some elite speed and runs routes to perfection.
IMO Brown is the best wideout in the NFL. Last season Brown had over 100 catches, 1500 yards and had 9 touchdowns.
Year after year Brown continues to perform. Even though the wideout is 30 I don’t see him slowing down anytime soon. Just imagine the numbers that Brown would put up with Tom Brady. They may be able to break Randy Moss’s TD record.
Brown is also a great personality off the field so it would be interesting to see how he would act in New England. I don’t think he will be putting any team speeches on Instagram live.
With the Patriots wide receiving group being so weak right now it makes you wish that the Patriots had a wideout like Brown.
