New England Patriots: 3 players we are glad to see leave New England
By Sam Minton
Even though there are some players who we wish were still with the New England Patriots, there are definitely some that we are glad to see go.
Whenever the New England Patriots have to trim down their roster to 53 players, there are going to be some tough decisions. There are always going to be some players that you wished were still on the roster.
There are also going to be some players that you will be happy to say goodbye to. Some early draft picks who never panned out, and some players that never found success once they made it on to the field.
So here are 3 players that New England Patriots fans won’t be missing too much.

Cyrus Jones
Cyrus Jones was just never meant to be with the New England Patriots. He was drafted in the 2nd round and was supposed to be a quality corner and also a kick return specialist. Jones became neither.
He missed all of last season due to a knee injury and when he was a rookie. Jones didn’t become the quality corner the Patriots were looking for and had problems holding on to the ball when returning kicks.
Jones is finally gone and has already found a new team. The Baltimore Ravens signed Jones to their practice squad on Sunday.
Baltimore may be a good fit for Jones. Cyrus grew up in the area and was a star at Gilman High School.
They do say there is no place like home.
