There is a ton of hype surrounding this years Boston Celtics squad. With expectations high let’s make some bold predictions.

Basketball season is getting closer and closer. Soon we will be seeing the Boston Celtics on the parquet getting ready to dominate the NBA.

This season is crucial for the Celtics. They need to perform well. Everyone is expecting the Celtics to make it to the NBA Finals. They are far and away the best team in the Eastern Conference. If they didn’t make the finals it would be a humongous disappointment.

The Celtics roster is one of the deepest in the NBA. There are just so many talented guys. I expect the Celtics to be scoring a lot of points this season.

So here are 3 bold predictions for the Celtics this season.

Terry Rozier will win the 6th man award

Terry Rozier is coming off a great season. He ended up taking over for Kyrie Irving after his season ended and did quite a good job.

The numbers that stand out is Rozier’s performance in the playoffs. He was in the starting lineup and went against some premier talent.

Rozier averaged 16.5 points, 5.7 assists, and 5.3 rebounds a game. At times it seemed like Rozier couldn’t miss.

This season I think Rozier will have an even better season. He will be one of the players leading the Boston Celtics strong second unit. Rozier has to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke and that he means business.

If Rozier wants to win the 6th man Award he is going to have to boost his scoring. I’m predicting that Rozier averages close to 20 points and 5 assists a game.

I think “Scary Terry” is just getting started.
